4-Day Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Fes – Atlas Mountains – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert:

Your journey begins at 7:00 am as your driver meets you at your riad or hotel. Travel through the Middle Atlas via Irfan, Midelt, Errachidia, and Erfoud. Enjoy lunch in a city or village along the way. Traverse forests, steep rocks, and Berber villages as you descend into the Sahara Desert. Stop in Midelt for lunch, known for its fossils. Arrive at the Kasbah of Merzouga for a refreshing shower or a dip in the pool. Dinner will be served at the hotel .

Day 2: Visit of the Region of Merzouga and Camel Ride:

Explore the village of Khamliya, home to gnawas of African origin seeking a better life in the Moroccan desert. Visit the city of Rissani, its souk, and enjoy Berber pizza (medfouna). In the afternoon, embark on a camel ride to cross the dunes, reaching a virgin oasis. Experience the tranquility of the desert, the beauty of nature, and witness the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in the luxury camp at the foot of one of Erg Chebbi’s highest dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Toudra Gorges – Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate:

After breakfast and a shower, journey to Ouarzazate via Toudra Gorges, Boumalen Dades village, the Valley of Roses (Kalaat Megouna), Skoura, and Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:

After breakfast, depart for Marrakech. Explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, founded by Pacha Laglaoui. Optionally, visit the movie studios. Lunch at a restaurant along the road. Arrive in Marrakech, concluding your unforgettable desert journey.
