6 Days Tour From Fes To Marrakech Via Merzouga & Camel

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt:

After breakfast, depart for Midelt via Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. En route, explore the Azrou forest, home to playful monkeys on the cedars. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains and arrive in Midelt for hotel accommodation.

Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga:

 After breakfast, traverse the Ziz Valley and its gorges to reach Erfoud, the fossil capital. Continue to Merzouga, where the day is dedicated to enjoying the desert’s serenity. Stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Tour in 4×4 – Camel Ride – Night in the Desert:

Embark on a 4×4 tour of the desert, visiting villages like Khamlia for Gnawa music and meeting desert nomads. In the afternoon, ride camels to a nomadic haima in the dunes for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi – The Gorges of Toudra:

 Witness a beautiful sunrise, climb dunes, and ride camels back to the hotel for breakfast. Continue to the Toudra Gorges via Rissani, visiting its traditional souk. Overnight at a hotel in the Toudra Gorge.

Day 5: Toudra Gorges – Dades Gorges – Skoura Oasis – Ouarzazate:

After breakfast, explore the gorges before moving on to the Dades Valley and the Rose Valley. Visit the ancient Kasbah of Ameridil in Skoura and the Kasbah of Taourirt and cinema museum in Ouarzazate. Stay in a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO Kasbah – Marrakech:

After breakfast, visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for its use in various films. Continue to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and settle into your riad.
